Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav started the Cabinet meeting by dedicating it to the national flag, in view of “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for August 15th. Dr. Yadav said that from August 11th to 15th, the campaign will feature various activities across all villages and wards throughout the state.
The Cabinet meeting, chaired by Dr. Yadav, commenced with recitation of “Vande Mataram” at the Secretariat.
This aligns with the nationwide celebration of the Tricolor, emphasizing patriotic fervor in every household.
Ten Senior Officers tasked with monitoring of ashrams and hostels
Dr. Yadav, the Chief Minister said that 10 officers at the secretary level have been assigned to monitor 4,500 hostels and ashrams that serve Scheduled Castes, Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
This supervisory structure requires Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors to report directly to these senior officials, ensuring a streamlined flow of information and accountability.
Raksha Bandhan programme will be held at 25 thousand places on 10th August
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Raksha Bandhan programme will be celebrated simultaneously at 25 thousand places across the state on August 10 and the amount will be released into the accounts of the sisters with a single click.
Activities will be increased in cyber tehsils
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to boost the state’s economic and administrative landscape an Investors Summit in Bengaluru will be organized on August 8, aimed at attracting investments in IT, Defense, and Space Science sectors which will be followed by a Regional Investors Summit in Gwalior on August 28, further extending the state’s outreach to potential investors.
Further on, Dr. Yadav apprised about expanding the role of tehsils by incorporating additional revenue-related processes into cyber tehsils, signaling a move towards digital governance at the local level.
Arrangements should be made carefully during festivals
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also gave instructions to keep all the necessary arrangements in order on August 15, Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami.
He said that Janmashtami should be celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm and all necessary precautions should be taken in the Matki-phod programmes.
