Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that Gulabganj will be made a Nagar Panchayat. Transformers will be installed in the fields of farmers. Will leave no stone unturned in the development of Vidisha and Gulabganj. Development work is going on continuously in the area.
A network of roads is being laid in the entire district including the Medical College in Vidisha.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a public meeting in Gulabganj.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahmin Yojana has been implemented for the economic empowerment of sisters.
In the scheme started with Rs 1000 per month for dear sisters, the amount will gradually be increased to Rs 3 thousand per month. Presently Rs 250 has been increased to Rs 1250 every month. Now the cylinders are being given for Rs 450 to the beneficiary sisters of Chief Minister Ladli Brahmin Yojana and Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana, he said.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that money increases respect and also fulfills needs. Ladli Brahmin Yojana has increased the respect of sisters in the society including their families. This scheme is a campaign to change the lives of sisters.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that I am running the family and not the government. I will continue to make efforts to relieve the suffering of my sisters.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that houses will be provided to those whose names have been left out in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. 6 thousand rupees are being given to the farmers under the Prime Minister’s Samman Nidhi and the same amount is also being given by the state government. Presently, the scooty which is being given to one son or daughter standing first in class 12th of their school will be given to two sons or daughters each from next year. Elderly people are being taken on pilgrimage by rail as well as by air. Along with providing laptops, bicycles, uniforms, books to the students, the fees of medical and engineering colleges are being paid by the state government.
