Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar on Tuesday said the state government will before long accept an approach prohibiting the hijab in schools.
Parmar’s comment comes right after a seething contention in Karnataka, where a part of understudies has been requesting a repudiation of the ‘prohibition’ on the hijab in instructive organizations.
The priest said while addressing correspondents, “Hijab isn’t a piece of uniform and, hence, I feel it ought to be prohibited. We will audit what is happening and accept a call.
“A uniform clothing standard will be carried out before very long. Our children and girls ought to keep the school uniform while coming to schools and really at that time will there be any discipline.”
“There is no issue with individuals wearing the hijab while getting out of their homes. In any case, in schools, there should be a feeling of balance thus a uniform clothing regulation is required,” Parmar added.
