Urban Development and Housing Minister Mr. Bhupendra Singh has informed that Rs. 21 crore 73 lakh has been released to 2 thousand 174 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban to construct their houses. Out of this, Rs 3 crore 31 lakh has been released to 331 beneficiaries for the first installment and Rs 18 crore 43 lakh to 1843 beneficiaries for the second installment.
It is worth mentioning that out of about 9 lakh 50 thousand houses sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban, the houses of more than 6 lakh beneficiaries have been completed.
The work of remaining houses is going on.
