To tackle the COVID situation in the country, the Centre has reorganised the six Empowered Groups into 10 groups. The decision is made in order to improve efforts in meeting the existing COVID management needs. Dr VK Paul, a member of the NITI Aayog’s Health Committee, will lead the Emergency Management Plan Group and the ten-member Vaccination Panel.
