Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Government College Bagdona will be named after Shaheed Sardar Vishnu Singh Gond.

A survey will be conducted for the ropeway in the tourist town Mathardev. Faculties of commerce and science will start in Government College Bagdona. ITI will be opened in Sarni.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the dedication and bhoomi pujan ceremony of various development works and distribution of materials under Charan Paduka scheme and distribution of benefits to Tendupatta collectors at Sarani in Betul district today.

A power plant worth Rs 4 thousand 563 crore will be constructed at Sarni in Betul district. There will be many works of development in the table. There will be no shortage of energy in the state. Drinking water will be made available through taps in every house.

Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Energy Minister Pradyumna Singh Tomar, Member of Parliament Shri Durgadas Uike, regional MLA and public representatives, tribal brethren, Ladli Bahnas and other citizens were present on the occasion. The programme bagan with the Chief Minister Chouhan performing the kanya pujan.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana, all eligible beneficiaries will be given houses and pattas to live in. He said that the problems of guest teachers would be resolved.

Congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ISRO team for the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon, Chief Minister Chouhan said that the whole country is proud of this achievement.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Seekho aur Kamao Yojana has been started for job and self-employment. Currently recruitment for one lakh posts is in progress.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government will pay the fees of medical, engineering and higher education of meritorious students.

Scooty is being given by the state government to the toppers in their schools.

Laptops are being given to the students who secure 75 percent marks in Class 12.

He said that my becoming Chief Minister would be meaningful only by changing the lives of the sisters.

The miscreants will be hanged. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi is giving 6 thousand rupees Samman Nidhi to the farmers. We have also decided to give 6 thousand rupees to the farmers. In this way farmers will be given 12 thousand rupees in a year.

I will not let tears remain in the eyes of sisters

Chief Minister Chouhan said that it is my resolve that I will not let tears remain in the eyes of sisters. To boost their self-respect and self-confidence, one thousand rupees per month is being made available under the Ladli Bahna Yojana.

It will be gradually increased up to Rs.3000. Rakhi festival will be celebrated with sisters on 27th of this month at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. We will never allow darkness to remain in the lives of sisters.

I run family not government

Chief Minister Chouhan said that we are not running the government but running the family. It is my duty to care for every member of the family. Our government is fulfilling its duty by providing ample water to farmers for crops, books-bicycles-mid-day meal-laptops-scooties to students, safe environment to women, skill upgradation and self-employment opportunities to youths and pilgrimage to senior citizens by air. Madhya Pradesh is my temple, people are God and I am the priest of the people.

Flowers showered from roofs and terraces

Citizens decorated their city grandly on the arrival of Chief Minister Chouhan. Chief Minister Chouhan, who came out for the Jan Darshan, was heartily welcomed by the citizens with great warmth at various places upon entering the city. Somewhere from the roofs of the houses, somewhere from the terraces and somewhere from the platforms, flowers were showered with garlands.

Groups of citizens were eager to warmly welcome Chief Minister Shri Chouhan with shawl shrifal.

Chief Minister Chouhan performed Jan Darshan before distribution of materials to tendu patta collectors under Mukhyamantri Charan Paduka Yojana and benefits to beneficiaries. Ladli Laxmis, Ladli Bahnas who came in large numbers, performed aarti to Chief Minister Chouhan, gifted Rakhi to their brother and garlanded him with flowers.

Chief Minister Chouhan, while performing Jan Darshan from Kalimai Tiraha, reached the programme venue via Shobhapur bus stand. The entire city was decorated with welcome gates and colorful balloons on the route.
