Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel gifted new constructions of more than Rs 1 crore 12 lakh to the employees and children of Raj Bhavan Pachmarhi on the occasion of 77th Independence Day.
Governor Patel dedicated the newly constructed 4 H-type residences equipped with modern amenities for the employees of Raj Bhavan Pachmarhi and the newly constructed dining room and kitchen for the 50-bed transit hostel.
The total cost of 4 new H-type residences built for the employees of Raj Bhavan Pachmarhi is Rs 94 lakh 51 thousand.
Total cost of the dining room and kitchen is over 18 lakhs, which are built over an area of 350 square meters.
With the construction of the new dining room, the facility of meals has been made available to 50 children simultaneously.
It is notable that the only facility of free dormitory in Pachmarhi has been made available by the Raj Bhavan for the study group of school children.
Governor’s wife Narmadaben Patel, Principal Secretary to Governor DP Ahuja, Secretary and Member Tribal Cell BS Jamod, family members of the Governor, officers and employees of local administration and police were present.
