Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Google Cloud has proposed establishing a Start-up Hub and Center of Excellence in Madhya Pradesh with the aim to develop a skilled workforce within the state.

Building on this momentum, the Chief Minister also revealed that constructive dialogues have been initiated with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, the revered manufacturer of the Tejas fighter aircraft with the prospect of setting-up a defense-related industry in Madhya Pradesh, a venture that is poised to yield promising results.

Similarly, NVIDIA has suggested preparing a blueprint to position Madhya Pradesh as the ‘Intelligence Capital of India.

The Invest Madhya Pradesh interactive session held in Bengaluru has yielded promising results, with the state attracting investment proposals worth approximately Rs 3,200 crore.

These investments are poised to create around 7,000 new employment opportunities, further bolstering Madhya Pradesh’s economy.

He highlighted the strong brotherly ties between Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka, noting the similarities in the business environments of the two states.

The Invest Madhya Pradesh program organized in Karnataka was aimed at providing greater avenues for trade, business, and industrial operators from the neighboring state to explore expansion opportunities within Madhya Pradesh.

This collaborative approach underscores the state’s commitment to fostering cross-regional synergies and leveraging its strategic location and investor-friendly policies to attract investment.

Madhya Pradesh -Karnataka ties will flourish further and deepen with time

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav affirmed that the positive results from the investment proposals received during the Bengaluru session will be prominently showcased at the upcoming Regional Industry Conclave scheduled in Gwalior on August 28.

He said that the state government had strategically planned to visit different states and engage directly with entrepreneurs and industrialists, with the aim of inviting investment into Madhya Pradesh.

Additionally, he expressed his hope that Madhya Pradesh’s burgeoning relations with Karnataka will continue to flourish and deepen over time, fostering stronger cross-regional economic ties and synergies.

Over 500 participants from Karnataka and other states in Invest Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that discussions with renowned IT Company NASSCOM and representatives of the space technology sector and Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Happiest Minds and SAP etc. on the development of IT in the state and their future plans are likely to yield positive results.

He said that there were more than 500 participants from Karnataka and surrounding states in the program.

One-to-one meetings were held with more than 30 leading industrialists including Lapp India, Reliance Consumer, DHL Global, Tech Mahindra, Microsoft, Kaynes Technology, and Kirloskar Systems.

Representatives from countries including Britain, Italy, France, Australia, and Switzerland take part

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Consuls General of Australia, Switzerland, Italy and France along with the Deputy High Commissioner of Britain and Honorary Commercial Ambassadors of Finland, Poland, Cambodia, Morocco, Peru, Tunisia, Namibia, and Spain participated in Invest Madhya Pradesh.

Along with this, representatives of NASSCOM, Confederation of Indian Industries, AISA, Eclina, TI, CIMI, Kasia, Federation of Indian Export Organization, Apparel Export Promotion Council, and Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce participated in the program.

Presentation for investment in the state, exchange of experiences with round table meeting

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to create an environment for investment in the state, the programme will highlight the existing possibilities in the state in the fields of industrial policy and investment promotion, science and technology, micro, small and medium industries, and tourism.

A presentation was given on facilities, incentives, and support policies.

Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation has signed an MoU with India Electronics Semiconductor Association, TiE Global, the Electronics Industries Association of India, and the Association of Geo-Spatial Industries in the IT sector.

Under Invest Madhya Pradesh, round table meetings were held with the Space Technology Sector, Global Capability Centres, IT-ITES and ESDM Sector and Apparel Industry.

Mohandas Pai of Manipal Group, Shiva Venkataramani, Chief Operation Officer, Lapp India, and Siddharth Sethi, MD, Infobeans shared their experiences in the program.
