Goa’s Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who returned here today after being discharged from Mumbai’s Leelavati Hospital, said that he would continue to perform his regular duties but according to the doctors’ consultation, his communication with the public will be limited for some time.

Parrikar was admitted to the hospital on 15th February due to his pancreatic disease. He presented the budget today and took the state cabinet meeting. Parrikar said in a press statement, that due to the immense love shown by the people, his resolve has strengthened that Goa and Citizens of Goa  are his family.

He said, “I express my gratitude to all those people who wishes​ for me to get well soon, through prayers in mosques, temples, churches and Gurudwara. The Chief Minister said, “I am overwhelmed with your tremendous love and affection. This strengthens my resolve that Goa and Goa people are my family. These are your best wishes and prayers, which have helped me to serve the country and the state today.

He said, “To be completely healthy, Doctors have advised me to be careful for some time. In this period, my interactions with the public will be limited. I will continue my regular duty and responsibility as the Chief Minister of the state.
