The registration process for getting gas cylinders at Rs. 450 will is starting from September from Tikamgarh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced to provide gas cylinders to Ladli Bahna at Rs. 450. The Ladli Bahna who have refilled gas cylinders from July 4th to August 31st, in the month of Sawan, will also receive the difference amount as a grant in their bank accounts.

Chouhan in his message urged the Ladli Bahna to register for the benefit from this scheme. Registration will be available on the Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana portal.

The Chief Minister said that eligible sisters already having a gas connection and are beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana can also register for this scheme.

Registration will require two sets of information or documents: (a) LPG Connection ID and (b) Aadhar ID. Registration for domestic gas connections will be available at all the centers where registration for the Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana has been done. The state government is also collecting information from all gas companies and will display it on the portal on September 25th, making it convenient for the beneficiary Ladli Bahna to check their details. An Application for resolving complaints is also being devised.

Process for Providing Subsidy

The Chief Minister laid emphasis that eligible Ladli Bahna must purchase gas refills from the LPG oil company at the current price. The difference in the refill price will be refunded directly to their bank accounts after reducing the central government’s subsidy amount. This subsidy will be provided to Ladli Bahna for every gas refill each month. The amount for beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will be deposited by the oil company into the Ladli Bahna’s accounts, and the state government will reimburse this amount to the oil company.

The Chief Minister also said that Ladli Bahna who are not beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana will receive the amount directly into their bank accounts. The same process will be followed for Ladli Bahna who refilled gas cylinders during the Sawan period from July 4th to August 31st. If the refill rates change in the future, the state government will also change it.
