Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that efforts to change the lives of the people will continue. No stone will be left unturned to make the life of women happier. In the Ladli Bahna Yojana, the amount will be increased from Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000 per month. Financial assitance will be given to eligible school children on August 17 for purchasing bicycles.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the foundation laying ceremony for development works worth Rs 559 crore under Ladli Bahna Sammelan and Vikas Parv at Lahar in Bhind district.
The public representatives and a large number of women and common people were present.
Chouhan said that there should be no discrimination between sons and daughters. Owing to Ladli Laxmi Yojana the girl child in the state will become lakhpati. Shri Chouhan said that positions for women in police, teachers and other government posts. Reservation is also being given in the panchayats and local bodies.
Chouhan said that every month Rs. 1000 is being deposited in the accounts of 1.25 crore sisters in Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahana Yojana. This is an honour to sisters. Shri Chouhan said that he will hold dialogue Ladli Bahnas before Rakshabandhan on August 27. All the sisters must join virtually from their respective villages at 2 PM.
The Chief Minister said that anyone committing crime against women will be hanged and their houses will be demolished as punishment.
He said that scooters will be given to the boys who obain top rank in class 12th and e-scooty to daughters. The state government will pay the fees of talented students studying at IITs, medical and engineering, law colleges.
The Chief Minister said that the campaign for one lakh recruitments is going on. Recruitment on fifty thousand more posts will be made. Recruitment in government jobs will continue. For self-employment, the benefit of Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana and Mukhyamantri Seekho Kamao Yojana will be ensured. Every month Rs. 8 thousand will be given to the youth under the Seekho Kamao Yojana. A glorious and powerful India is emerging under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The Central and State Governments are working together continuously for the welfare of the farmers and the poor.
The Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has made the present better and is working to brighten the future of Madhya Pradesh.
367 development works worth more than Rs 559 crore
Shri Chouhan performed Bhumi Pujan of a total of 367 development works costing more than Rs 559 crore in Tehsil Lahar of Bhind.
These include 3 development works of bridge construction by Public Works Department costing 71 crore 55 lakhs, 2 CM Rise School costing 70 crore 04 lakhs of MP Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation, 6 development works costing 17 crore 79 lakhs of Public Works Department PIU , Construction work of Shaurya Memorial and Boundary Wall costing 1 crore 7 lakh of MP Housing Construction and Infrastructure Development Board, 324 development works costing 261 crore 51 lakh 80 thousand of Public Health Engineering Department.
The Chief Minister dedicated 5 development works of Public Works Department costing 26 crore 58 lakh for bridge construction, 2 development works of MP Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation costing 43 crore 75 lakh, 5 development works of MP Rural Road Development Authority project implementation costing 27 crore 7 lakh, 11 development works costing 31 crore 72 lakh of Public Works Department, 8 development works costing 8 crore 28 lakh 4 thousand of Public Health Engineering Department.
Chouhan and Union Minister Scindia were welcomed by people showering flowers from the roofs of their houses along with a huge crowd on both sides of the roads in the road show.
Chief Minister Chouhan and Union Minister Shri Scindia were warmly welcomed by the general public. Ladli Bahnas were showering flowers on the streets and intersections of Lahar raising slogans of “Thank you Shivraj Bhaiya”. They also garlanded the photographs of Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas, architect of the Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on the way of the road show.
In the Jandarshan Yatra, Ladli Bahna, Manokamna Jha, Shanti Devi, Sita Ojha, Mahadevi Jha, Sharda Jha, Lakshmi Jha blessed Shri Chouhan by tying Rakhi.
Guest teachers, women of self-help groups, social organisations warmly welcomed the CM during the Chief Minister’s road show.
