Arjun Singh did a good job by holding the post of Minister and Chief Minister of various departments, Madhya Pradesh still remembers many of his works and will continue to do so. Self. Mr. Singh worked for the downtrodden, the exploited and the backward. The historic Rajiv-Longowal pact in Punjab is his gift. He did better work as governor in Punjab. The dacoits surrendered in the state during the tenure of his Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that self. Arjun Singh used to reach the programs keeping his ideology intact. Affection, love and respect for others was always in his nature. He spoke less but meaningfully. He had made Madhya Pradesh proud in India.
Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh said he is very happy that Late. Arjun Singh’s statue is being unveiled here. Whatever I am today is because of them. He said that self. Singh’s way of working was amazing, he used to do what he spoke. He discharged the position he held very well. He did exemplary work in favor of the poor. He was a well wisher of the proletariat. His work-style, personality, tact and acumen were unique.
Former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri said that late son of the soil of Madhya Pradesh. Arjun Singh established many records with his works. He worked for the welfare of the oppressed, poor and downtrodden.
Bina Singh, daughter of Arjun Singh said that I cannot describe the greatness of my father in words. He thanked Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on behalf of Arjun Singh Sadbhawna Foundation. He himself talked about building a corridor in Bharat Bhawan as per Arjun Singh’s wish.
Former Minister Ajay Singh Rahul thanked Chief Minister Chouhan for unveiling the statue. He said that Wednesday was father’s 12th death anniversary. He also thanked the Municipal Corporation for setting up the statue.
He said that Arjun Singh introduced many schemes and institutions for Madhya Pradesh. Father’s name will definitely be taken in the implementation of schemes, he said.
At the beginning of the programme, Chouhan performed Kanya Pujan and lit the lamp. Former Deputy Speaker Vidhansabha Rajendra Singh, MLAs and dignitaries were present.
