This case (RC-68A / 96) is related to illegal withdrawal of 33 crores 67 lakh 534 rupees from Chaibasa Treasury. In this case, former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has also been declared five years’ sentence. Both have been fined five-five lakhs, while six accused have been acquitted in this case.
