The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Pune Range, has stopped a first data report (FIR) against two police constables of Pune rustic police for taking hush-money of ₹40,000 from a charged who was reserved in an aggressive behavior at home case.
The constables accepted kickbacks cash and guaranteed the man that he wouldn’t be captured for the situation.
The 67 year-old complainant and his relatives have been reserved in an abusive behavior at home case at Vadgaon Nimbalkar police headquarters.
The two denounced constables have been recognized as Shivaji Satav (52), who is the head constable and Gopal Jadhav, a police naik posted at Vadgaon Nimbalkar police headquarters.
The pair was examining the situation against the complainant and requested a pay off of ₹50,000.
Right hand police magistrate Srihari Patil expressed that the couple requested ₹25,000 for the police chowki and ₹15,000 for a printer from the complainant, and an offense was held up against them for requesting the pay off under Sections 7 and 12 of the Anti-Corruption Act.
The grievance was held up against the team on February 24.
