“Ayush Aapke Dwar” scheme is being operated in the state from August 1. Through the scheme, the field staff of the AYUSH department is reaching door-to-door and providing health facilities to the people.
The scheme will be operated regularly till September 30. In this regard, the AYUSH department has issued guidelines to all its field officers.
Ayurveda medical facilities to reach citizens
The field staff of Bhopal District Ayurveda Hospital is regularly visiting various areas of the capital Bhopal.
Besides, health facilities are being provided to the villagers in rural areas. Physicians and field staff recently visited Panchsheel Nagar, Bhim Nagar, Tila Jamalpura, Nariyal Kheda and Lalghati area.
Residents were given information regarding prevention of diseases occurring during the rainy season.
The main advice given was not to allow accumulation of dirty water in the colony, to ensure spraying of lime and to use mosquito nets in homes.
Citizens were informed about pure water and clean food by physicians and field staff. Physicians distributed Ayurvedic medicines like Ayush-64, Sudarshan Churna, Anu Tel, Trikatu Churna, Laganvadi Vati and homeopathy medicines like Malaria Off 200 and Eupatorium to the people. The field staff also told the students in educational institutions about the importance of hygiene.
Students were told about boosting the immunity of the body. Recently a camp was organised at GV Pant Higher Secondary School, Ashoka Garden. A huge health camp was organised in Berasia in the rural area and health checkup of the villagers was done and their health cards were prepared. Villagers were advised to adopt a healthy lifestyle and mainly include millets in their diet. Citizens were also apprised about preparing gardens of medicinal plants around their homes.
