Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that WiFi facility will also be provided at stations made in rural areas along with big stations. So that people living there can also get benefitted by all the internet services.
He said that the Railways is not only hiking the passenger amenities but it will soon recruit 9000 different posts in the RPF.
About 50 percent of these posts will be reserved for women. Along with this, recruitment process of 90 thousand railway employees will also be started soon. Piyush Goyal said that the railway has made the recruitment process very transparent. No one can do corruption in it. Apart from this, all railway stations will be equipped with CCTV.
The Railway Minister said that this is the first time since independence that such changes are happening in the railway department. He said that earlier governments discriminated with the UP. Earlier, the government had given Rs 5650 crore to the UP in the Railway Budget, whereas our government gave Rs 7865 crore for the development of railways in the UP. This budget is increasing every year. Many leaders, including Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Rajnath Singh, have emerged from Lucknow’s land.
