Mumbai’s previous top cop Param Bir Singh – confronting charges of offense and defilement – on Tuesday got a help from the Supreme Court till March 9. The state government in Maharashtra has concurred for a stay on all arguments against Singh for the following fourteen days.
The court is relied upon to settle on March 9 assuming all bodies of evidence against him will be moved to CBI.
The 58-year-old top cop is confronting coercion charges. He was taken out from his post last year in March in the repercussions of the security alarm close to Mukesh Ambani’s Mumbai home – Antilia.
Afterward, he had kept in touch with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray guaranteeing that previous home priest Anil Deshmukh had requested that the authorities gather ₹100 crores from Mumbai finance managers.
