Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is the most recent celebrity to contract COVID-19. Akshay Kumar announced on Twitter on Sunday that he had tested positive for the coronavirus this morning. In a tweet, he wrote: “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I’m under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care.” In a tweet, Akshay Kumar urged those who had recently come into touch with him to get screened: “I would seriously recommend all those who have come into contact with me to get themselves tested and take care.”
