The incident occurred on May 26 night where two families clashed over some monetary matter in Datoda village in Indore district of MP.

Some eleven persons were injured and over dozen motorcycles damaged, according to the police.

As precautionary measure the police forces is deployed in the village.

There was heated exchanges amongst the members of the two families over Rs.2100, the police said.

Kishore Chouhan along with his few relatives beaten up Narendra Mundal after argument, hurled stones on him and his house, in which a motorcyle and a car was damaged.

In retaliation Mundal alongwith a mob in which some of them carried rods and swords, attacked Chouhan and others and set on fire motorcycles parked there.

In the attack, one Shankarlal Chouhan, Arjun, Surendra, Prahlad and four-year-old Himanshi were injured, the police said.

Kishore lodged complaint against Narendra Mundal and others whom were booked under relevant sections of IPC and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

The other group also lodged a complaint, after which a case was registered against Kishore Chohan and eight others, by the police.
