On social media, a video of a distraught lady shouting ‘Babu’ outside a wedding site while her lover married another woman inside the hall has gone viral. The event occurred in the Madhya Pradesh city of Hoshangabad.
The Kanpur girl was barred from entering the wedding site because she kept yelling “Babu… babu,” expecting that her beloved would come out and speak to her.
In the video, the woman wearing a blue kurti paired with white leggings and a dupatta can be seen frantically running outside the wedding hall as the security guard stops her from entering. She cries, “Babu” repeatedly and says, “Ek baar baat karlo, babu.”
She tells bystanders that her former lover should have at least told her that he was getting married.
She continued to scream “Babu” until the police arrived and escorted her away.
The woman claimed that she had been in a live-in relationship with the man for the last three years, Zee News reported. Both of them worked at a private firm in Bhopal.
The video of the woman crying “Babu” has gone viral across social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Youtube. While most netizens expressed sympathy for the heartbroken woman, others hoped that she would find someone better in future.
Earlier this month, a bride in Jharkhand’s Ranchi refused to marry after taking saat phere and walked out of the mandap just before the sindoor ceremony. When asked why she didn’t want to marry, she said that she didn’t like the groom.
