The three-day 38th Indian Engineering Congress is being organized from 27th December to 29th December in Jabalpur.

The Indian Engineering Congress is being held under the aegis of Institution of Engineers (India) Local Center Jabalpur in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

This engineering congress organized on the theme “Reimagining Tomorrow: “Shaping the Future through Disruptive and Interdisciplinary Technologies” will be inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Rajendra Shukla.

The chief guest will be Mr. UP Singh, former Secretary to the Government of India.

Industry Excellence Awards and Education Excellence Awards will also be presented in the Congress.

A total of 18 industries and 9 renowned engineering educational institutions including various PSUs and MNCs will be awarded during the event.
The three day event will see 8 memorial lectures delivered by top engineering professionals from India and abroad in memory of stalwarts of the engineering profession.

The program will honor two eminent engineers for their outstanding contribution in the field of engineering.

These include Border Roads Organisation ex-director and retired Lt. General Rajiv Chaudhary) and Vinay Kumar Singh, MD, NCRTC.

Visionary talks will be presented by Larsen & Toubro Limited Management Executive Committee member Jayant D Patil and President of The Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) Dr. Ranjit Dissanayake.

the representatives from the Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers, Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka, the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, Nepal Engineers Association, Kuwait and Nepal Overseas Chapter will also participate.

Ten technical sessions have been scheduled for the Congress Seminar where about 75 papers from various branches of engineering will be presented.

An exhibition has been organized during the Congress where industries and educational institutions will get an opportunity to showcase their products, technology and services.
