Saira Banu, a veteran actress, came to Twitter to convey the latest health news regarding iconic actor Dilip Kumar, saying that doctors have informed her that he would be released soon.
Taking to Dilip Saab’s official Twitter handle, she wrote, “Past few days my beloved husband, Yousuf Khan, has been unwell and recuperating at a hospital in Mumbai. Through this note, I want to thank all of you for keeping him in your prayers and for all the love and affection. My husband, my Kohinoor, our Dilip Kumar Sahab’s health is stable and doctors have assured me that he should be discharged soon. I urge you to not believe in rumors. While I ask you to pray for Sahab’s health, I am praying that the Almighty keep all of you safe and healthy during this pandemic.

Saira also asked their admirers not to trust rumors about the 98-year-old Bollywood actor’s health. She further stated that Dilip Saab’s health is stable and expressed gratitude for everyone’s kind wishes.
Dr. Jalil Parkar, a chest specialist at PD Hinduja Hospital where Saab is being treated, said earlier in the day that the legendary actor is on oxygen assistance and not on a ventilator.
The actor’s lungs are also said to be filled with water, and he will be treated by a team of experts at the PD Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai, soon.
After complaining of dyspnea, the actor was brought to the hospital on Sunday (June 6). He was taken to the ICU after being diagnosed with bilateral pleural effusion. Doctors, on the other hand, assessed his condition as stable.
In May, the actor from the film ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ was taken to the hospital for a regular check-up.
