Chief Minister Chouhan has launched the Digi locker for university students and inaugurated the Vivekananda Career Guidance Scheme for employment and personality development of the students.
Also he released a booklet based on National Education Policy 2020 tagged ‘Nai Shiksha-Nai Udaan and ‘Utkarsh’ magazine of the scheme in the Yuva Samvad programme.
Chouhan urged the student to come forward to make their career in agriculture sector.
He said the state government has taken steps for enhancing agricultural production, storage capcity, crops diversification, expansion of irrigation facilities and food processing as per global requirements.
The focus is also towards better packaging, marketing etc of the agricultural products being produced in the state for their export to other countries by adding value to them, he said.
Under diversification of agriculture, various schemes are there to encourage cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants, fruits, flowers, vegetables and spices, he said.
Chouhan said the youths can go ahead without any hesitation or fear if they want to make their career in agriculture. The state government is with them at every step.
The chief minister interacted with the students and replied to their queries.
The first query was from Kritika Chaurasia, a student of Jaywanti Haksar Government College, Betul on what efforts should be made to score good marks.
Chouhan cited example of poet Tulsidas and Kalidas. The students must set their goals and work with self-confidence, have enthusiasm and focused over it are basis for success.
Another query was from Khushi Karwaria from Chhatarpur about the available government schemes and how can girls coming from financial weaker background get help of them.
Chouhan informed various government schemes for girls and the steps taken by the government to ensure that no student is deprived of higher education in want of funds.
Various schemes are there for school level, for financial assistance at college level including mukhya mantri medhavi vidyarthi yojana and gaon ki beti yojana.
