Officials reported that the number of dengue cases in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for this year has risen to 122 after 10 cases were discovered on Saturday. They also said that measures were being made to avoid the spread of dengue fever, which has been on the rise in recent days.
Officials have been ordered to begin a huge drive to locate and kill dengue-carrying mosquito larvae, according to Indore Divisional Commissioner Pavan Kumar Sharma.
“We will also ensure dengue test reports are provided to the citizens on the same day of sample collection for treatment to start at the earliest,” he said. Only one person has died here of dengue since January this year, officials said.
