On Saturday, six labourers were injured after being hit by a speeding vehicle, according to authorities.
The incident took place in north Delhi’s Narela neighbourhood and the injured were named as Narender (43), Sharad (40), Sanjay (35), Sunil (30), Nand Lal (32) and Sukhdin (21). (21).
By the time police arrived, all of the injured had been sent to MV Hospital, and a Baleno vehicle had been discovered at the scene, with its driver fleeing and leaving his phone behind, they added.
According to early investigation, the vehicle leaving Narela was headed for Bawana.
According to a senior police official, it reportedly lost its balance and ran over roadside laborers.
According to the officer, medical and legal records of the victims were obtained, and a complaint was filed under sections 279 (rash driving) and 337 (causing harm by conduct endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
According to authorities, the car’s owner is Amit, a resident of Sonipat in Haryana, and the vehicle is being driven by Dharmender.
They added that efforts were being made to apprehend him and that further information about the case will be forthcoming.
