The world’s oldest gorilla died at the age of 60. This gorilla named Villa had seen his five generations in front of him.

Villa died in San Diego Zoo Safari Park, California. He was born in 1959 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and then in 1975 he was brought to Safari Park. The villas played the role of a serogate mother for some Western gorillas, which have been declared as extinct by the International Union for nature conservation.

Employees working in Ju said that because of age, villas had started arthritis as well as other health problems. At the same time, when he died, all the members of his family stood beside him.

Randy Riches, who works at Safari Park, said in a statement that a lot of people coming to the york staff, staff and roaming will lack the villa. Let the gorillas be about 35-40 years old.
