Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said there is not a single case of coronavirus in 48 out of 52 districts of the state.
Bhopal, Chhatarpur, Gwalior and Morena have only one positive case each of coronavirus infection, he said.
Ensure 100% vaccination of eligible children in the state, he instructed the health authorities.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the review meeting of coronavirus situation held at Bhopal.
Chouhan said the states of North India, which have comparatively more cases, should be monitored and people should be aware and alerted.
In the meeting, a presentation was given about the global situation of Covid-19 and the status of infection in other states of the country.
Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman and officials of Health Department were present in the review meeting.
At national level, COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 187.71 crore as per provisional reports till Monday.
COVID-19 vaccination for the age group 12-14 years was started on 16 March, 2022, the official note said.
So far, more than 2.66 crore adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Similarly, the COVID-19 precaution dose administration for age group 18-59 years also started from April 10, 2022 onwards. 4,17,414 precaution doses have been administered in age group 18-59 years so far.
Active cases at national level currently is 16,522, in past 24 hours 2541 cases reported.
The recovery rate at national level currently is 98.75%.
