Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hope to form government at the Centre said the new government will transfer Rs 1 lakh annually into accounts of women belonging to SC, ST, and backward classes.
He was campaigning for the Congress candidate for Mandla Lok Sabha seat.
He was addressing a rally held at Dhanora in Seoni district.
He said the new government will take steps to arrange apprenticeship to unemployed youths.
While in Umaria, Rahul Gandhi interacted with women collectors of mahua flowers in a forest and learnt about their problems.
Speaking in Mandla, the Congress leader said our manifesto states three to four things to do including transfer of Rs 1 lakh into (bank) accounts of women belonging to SC and ST, backward classes and for those belong to financially poor families.
Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Faggan Singh Kulaste from Mandla Lok Sabha seat while Congress has fielded former minister and MLA Omkar Singh Markam.
The Congress focuses on Asha and Anganwadi workers again by giving them assurance of double their renumeration being paid to them.
The Congress leader said a new law will be framed to see that unemployed youth gets a year apprenticeship in both the public and private sector and they get allowance of Rs one lakh.
After completing the apprenticeship, they will get a job at the same place if they perform well, he added.
In a move to vow voters particularly those in contractual employment, Gandhi said on formation of the government at the Centre, initiative will be taken to end the contractual system in employment.
The new government will fill 30 lakh vacancies in the government sector, he said.
The farmers will get adequate MSP for their crops for which they have been agitating for a long period for which a new regulation will be introduce, he said.
