Many schemes are being run by the state government for the disabled. Divyangjan should be aware and share the information with each other.
Commissioner Disabled Sandeep Rajak said this while hearing the disabled people in the ongoing court at District Disabled and Rehabilitation Center Barwani. He heard 93 cases. Persons with disabilities submitted applications related to pension, assistive devices and special reservation.
Jishan and Juneda will get grant amount in addition to pension
Haseer Ahmad Sheikh, father of Barwani resident Jishan and mother of 8-year-old Junaida Sayyed, resident of Sendhwa, submitted an application demanding disability pension and accessories, Commissioner Disabled instructed the deputy director of the Social Justice Department that both the disabled children should Suffer from multiple types of disabilities. Therefore, Rs.600 disability pension and Rs.600 social assistance grant should be made available to these children. A tricycle from ALIMCO to Jishan and CP chair to Juneda should also be made available.
Cabinet minister also inspected
Social Justice Department Minister Premsingh Patel also inspected the mobile court proceedings and gave instructions to give benefits to the Divyangjan as per eligibility. Collector Dr. Rahul Phatting and Divyangjan were present.
