Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said the startup policy and startup portal is being implemented in the state.

Chouhan was addressing a meeting regarding Madhya Pradesh startup policy and plan implementation.
A hub will be set up in Indore to provide a platform to various startups working in the state.

It was informed in the meeting that the implementation of the startup policy and startup portal of the state would be started soon.
The implementation will start on the basis of virtual partnership with all the universities, colleges and incubation centers of the state.
The Department of Industry Promotion and Internal Trade, Government of India and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are getting cooperation in the implementation of the Startup Policy and Portal.
Along with this, the national level institutions like CII, FICCI, PHD Chamber of Commerce, NASSCOM and TIE are also collaborating.
In the near future, there will also be a discussion on funding for startups, ongoing activities for promotion of startup and incubation eco-system at the national level and the state’s startup policy and its implementation.
State Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Omprakash Saklecha, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Secretary Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises P. Narhari and other officials were present.
Rapid development is going on in the state in every sector, the growth rate of the state is 19.7 percent, which is more than other states.
Similarly, the contribution of Madhya Pradesh in the country’s GDP has increased from 3.6 percent to 4.6 percent.
The state government has got 21000 acres of land freed from mafia in the last two years. There is no place for miscreants in the state, their actions are unforgivable.
