Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan greeted newly elected President Draupadi Murmu.
He said President Murmu is a symbol of tribal pride, her life is an inspirational example for continue working for public welfare in difficult circumstances too.
On the auspicious occasion of the Amrit Mahotsav of the country’s independence, I am fortunate that the NDA under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) has made sister (Draupadi Murmu) of a tribal community as candidate for the presidential post and she has been elected to the highest constitutional post of the nation, he said.
Chouhan said today is a new beginning as a golden chapter in the history of independent India.
He hoped the public welfare and development will gain momentum under her protection and India will establish a new identity abroad. Chouhan thanked the Bharatiya Janata Party and all those MLAs of Madhya Pradesh who have voted for the presidential election candidate Murmu.
