Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said land must be reserved for police stations, posts and battalions and other police purposes near the National Highway and other routes.
This should be given priority, he said.
He said that providing employment to the needy is the top priority of the state government.
He stressed on making an action plan for providing employment by including sectors like tourism, forest, minerals, industry and service sector.
He said that the action plan ensure jobs to the needy people from every sector. He asked the officers concerned to prepare district wise action plans.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was reviewing the development works at high level review meeting at Gwalior.
He also reviewed the law and order situation of the division. Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was present.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there is immense potential for tourism in Gwalior region.
Hence employment-oriented plan to promote tourism should be prepared at the earliest.
The Chief Minister said that there are willing people should be encouraged to set up enterprises with government help.
He instructed to contact such people and motivate them to create employment opportunities and set up enterprises.
He stressed on organizing job fair on a large scale at the divisional level.
He said on the lines of Hukumchand Mill of Indore, payment of emoluments would be ensured to JC Mill workers.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Union Minister Shri Scindia instructed the Gwalior Collector to submit an action plan as soon as possible for resolving the problems of workers.
Scindia said that information about development works should also be given to public representatives.
He also stressed on making Gwalior city top in cleanliness and strengthening the traffic system.
Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Minister and Horticulture and Food Processing Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, MP Gwalior Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar, MP Guna KP Singh Yadav and MP Bhind Sandhya Rai, Mayor Dr. Shobha Satish Sikarwar and MLAs of Gwalior division were present.
The Chief Secretary Veera Rana and Special Director General of Police GP Singh were present.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav told the public representatives present that together we will take the state to greater heights in respect of development. Everyone’s suggestions will be considered and good suggestions will be implemented.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to organize a meeting of Additional Chief Secretaries with all the MPs and MLAs of Gwalior division and other public representatives.
Also said that all public representatives must give their suggestions in writing.
He also asked for suggestions for increasing rail services including new railway lines.
Dr. Yadav called upon the public representatives to move the state forward on the path of progress.
He said that with this objective in mind, he himself is trying to know the regional difficulties and problems by holding meetings in all the divisions.
The Chief Minister instructed all the concerned officers to complete the incomplete works as part of a campaign.
Laxity at any level will not be tolerated, he said.
Chief Minister directed that the villages situated near the National Highways should compulsorily get connectivity with the National Highways.
Also, pay special attention to the national highways, which are under construction and connect the concerned villages to the main road.
Complete work of Jal Jeevan Mission
The Chief Minister said the works of Jal Jeevan Mission should be completed by launching a special campaign.
He said that the work which has been done till 80 percent should be completed faster.
Reserve land for police stations
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that land must be reserved for police stations, posts and battalions and other police purposes near the National Highway and other routes. This should be given priority.
The Chief Minister reiterated that there is no ban on the sale of meat and fish.
He said that keeping in mind the health safety of people and environment protection, the open sale of meat, fish etc. has been banned.
He said the government will provide platforms for vendors of meat and fish.
Instructions to remove obstacles of Ratangarh Multipurpose Project
He gave instructions to remove the hurdles in completing the Ratangarh Multi-Purpose Irrigation Project in Datia district as soon as possible.
Get rid of the obstacles in this irrigation project related to the Forest Department.
He also instructed the concerned officials to bring the construction of Gwalior – Bhind four lane national highway on the ground as soon as possible.
Dr. Mohan Yadav said that no person should be spend the night in the open during the winter season. Provide shelter to those who spend the night on footpaths. Make social organizations also partners in this work.
He said that the arrangements for night shelters should be properly made.
Gwalior be made first in cleanliness
The Chief Minister told all the public representatives and officials to ensure that cleanliness prevails in the city.
Gwalior should be on the top in respect of cleanliness on the lines of Indore.
He said that cleanliness is one of the top priorities of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The state government has also given a top priority to cleanliness drive.
