Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav along with former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a sapling of Tabebuia (Pink Trumpet) in the Smart City Park, went on a tree walk and honoured environmentalist Dr. Anil Joshi.
In the programmme held amid chanting of mantras, Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Krishna Gaur, MP V.D. Sharma, representatives of voluntary organizations, environment lovers and distinguished citizens also planted saplings.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and former CM Chouhan viewed the saplings planted in the Smart City Park in the last three years during the tree walk.
