Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is committed to ensuring public welfare.

He was addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of various projects valuing at Rs 131.49 crore in Chhindwara.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has come a long way.

The nation and the state are growing under the capable leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi. As many as 25 crore poor people of the country have come out of poverty.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh will have front ranking in all sectors.

It will implement schemes like Ladli Laxmi Yojana in an efficient manner. He said that farmers are getting fair prices for their produce.

Construction of roads is going on fast. Irrigation facilities are expanding, The common citizens will get benefits of development processes.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was given a warm welcome by the people of Chhindwara.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed the bhoomi pujan of 9 construction works costing Rs 46.77 crore of 5 departments and inaugurated 28 development works costing Rs 131.49 crore of 7 departments in Chhindwara.

Bhoomi pujan and inauguration of 37 works worth a total of Rs 178.26 crore was completed.

Industrial Development Center Borgaon costing Rs 74.27 crore was also inaugurated.

Other major works inaugurated include Seltia Reservoir, additional room in Higher Secondary School in village Jhilmili, laboratory in school building in Umranala, laboratory and additional room in school in village Jam, additional room in village Badhkuhi, Upgradation of girls school of Kailash Nagar Chhindwara to model school, electricity sub-station in Damuamal, Jal Jeevan Mission includes tap water scheme in village Lotiya, Harakpur, Sitadongri, Lona Pathar, Karidongri and Dungaria, various road construction works, sub health center building, warehouse etc.

Along with this, the foundation stone of the works for which the foundation stone has been laid also includes the foundation stone of the industrial area Lahgadua worth Rs 13 crore under the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Program of the regional office of MP Industrial Development Corporation Limited, Jabalpur.

ShriAnna Mela was organized. To promote ShriAnna, Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur prepared stalls of various dishes of Shree Anna (millets) including noodles, pasta, cookies, biscuits, which was organized.

Farmers from all the development blocks of Chhindwara district participated in the Mela. Shree Anna Products of Mandla district along with famous products of other districts were set up. Display of organic and natural products was main attraction.
