Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has instructed the concerning authorities to speed up initiatives for spreading vocational education in the state.
He said that the “New Education Policy-2020” centres focus on vocational education (vocational studies) on the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was reviewing the activities of the School Education Department in Mantralaya today.
Dr. Yadav said that after completing school education, students should be motivated for employment and self-employment by pursuing them to have vocational studies while taking admission for higher education. With this the education system can be made more meaningful.
Decisions in selection for new CM Rise schools should be taken on practical basis and the design and all other arrangements in the construction of schools should also be completed efficiently.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav apprised himself of regular courses, management of CM Rise Schools and the welfare of the students.
He directed the department to submit an action plan as per the Sankalp Patra.
Principal Secretary School Education, Rashmi Arun Shami gave a presentation on the schemes. Senior officials were present.

- Resolve departmental issues in coordination with concerning departments.
