Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav virtually joined a programme to start air services between Gwalior – Bangaluru and Gwalior-Delhi-Ayodhya.
He said that people are Gwalior have got a gift on Makar Sankranti.
He said that upgrading the airport in Gwalior spending Rs 500 crore is a historic initiative.
This caravan will continue, he said and added the new air service will connect North and South India.
He said that Air services are expanding under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Madhya Pradesh is getting all the support from the Civil Aviation Ministry.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the efforts are being made to operate air ambulance from every district, so that serious patients can get the benefit of air facility for treatment in expert medical institutions.
The Chief Minister said that air services help increase tourism, trade-commerce activities and all other economic activities.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Madhya Pradesh and Gwalior are also changing faster.
He said that the air services will strengthen the economy by maximixing business, commerce and tourism activities.
He said that the confluence of India’s spiritual and economic powers is taking place. India will emerge on the world stage.
Union Minister Scindia said that the new air services are a confluence of the resolve of Prime Minister Modi and the positive thinking of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
Along with giving a modern look to the airport in Gwalior, a glimpse of ancient culture and history is also visible.
The Prime Minister emphasizes on the development of infrastructure.
The work related to Gwalior airport is being completed in a short period. Union Minister Scindia also gave detailed information about air services from Indore to UAE, Sharjah and informed about efforts to increase air connectivity to various places.
Minister for Energy Pradyuman Singh Tomar also spoke on the occasion.
