There is good news for the youth who cherish the possibility of employment in the tourism sector and dream of starting a start-up. The Tourism Department has initiated a golden opportunity of employment for the youth of the state under the Mukhyamantri Seekho -Kamao Yojana.
More than 800 organisations working in the field of tourism have taken initiative to provide benefits to more than 4 thousand youth of the state under this scheme.
According to the vision of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the scheme is the best way to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state and to strengthen the state’s economy.
Opportunity to join flagship hotel and institute
The youth learning in the tourism department will get an easy opportunity to join and work in big hotels and institutions of the country and the state. Various renowned hotels and institutes including Crescent Spa and Water Park Indore, Hotel Taj Bhopal, Orchha Palace Orchha, CARD Bhopal, Lake City Entertainment, Travel India Tourism, Dhruv Adventure, Hotel Radisson Bhopal will train the youth of the state.
Opportunity to learn in hotels, tour travels and tourism activities
Under the Mukhya mantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana, there will be opportunities for learning and employment in various sectors of tourism including prestigious hotels, tour and travel agencies of the state. The hotels will provide opportunities for learning and employment in Bellboy, Marketing Executive, Front Office, Kitchen Assistance, House Keeping, Security, Gardening Skills, in Tour and Travels, they will have opportunities like Receptionist, Accounts, Peon and Social Media Marketing Skills. Along with this, there will be an opportunity to learn in the field of media entertainment, marketing, audio-video production, adventure activities etc.
Assistance in starting self-employment and start-up
The scheme will not only increase the skills of the youth but it will also give their self-confidence a boost. Along with this, start-ups in the field of tourism like security agencies, adventure activities agency will act as motivators to open institutions.
