Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid homage to the heroes who sacrificed everything for the freedom of the country and said that every citizen should celebrate Independence Day with enthusiasm. On the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the national flag should be hoisted in every home.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the citizens after participating in the Har Ghar Tiranga rally in Budhni on Sunday. CM overwhelmed by the Tiranga rally said that this is the first time in the history of Budhni that a large number of citizens from all sections have held the tricolor in their hands and made the sky reverberate with the cheers of Bharat Mata. CM Chouhan, describing Prime Minister Shri Modi’s call as historic, said that today the Prime Minister’s campaign of patriotism like “Meri Mati Mera Desh” has instilled patriotism in the masses.

Referring to the freedom fighters and heroes, the Chief Minister said that many freedom fighters were forgotten by the previous government. He said that the only desire of the heroes who embraced the gallows with a smile was that till the independence of Bharat Mata, they would be born again and again on this land and fight against the British to liberate India.

The CM awakened the spirit of patriotism among the people by singing a song full of patriotism

Chief Minister Chouhan sang patriotic compositions before the meeting, even after his address, he enthused the citizens, especially the youth and students, by singing many patriotic songs.

The Chief Minister started with the song “Nadiya Chale Chale Re Dhara” and in no time sang several songs like “Mera Rang De Basanti Chola” and “Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawano Ka” etc. Taking the tricolour, youths sang in tune with the Chief Minister with great zeal. The Chief Minister urged everyone to take a pledge to transform Madhya Pradesh as the best state of the country and the country as the leader of the world.
