Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is going to launch the Mukhyamantri Avasia Bhu-Adhikar Yojna (मुख्यमंत्री आवासीय भू-अधिकार योजना) from Tikamgarh on January 4, 2023, Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput said.
The State government intends to make the homeless families owner of the land, he said.
The government will distribute Bhumiswami Adhikar Patra (land ownership rights letter) to 10000 families, Rajput said.
The Shivraj Singh Chouhan government, engaged in the all-round development of the people of the state, is going to give a big gift to the homeless people in the new year.
Under this scheme, the government will make the dream of homeless people to have their own house to come true by 2023.
Giving this information, State Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput said CM Chouhan has taken the initiative to provide land to those people who do not have their own houses.
Such landless people will be provided land on lease under Mukhyamantri Avasia Bhu-Adhikar Yojna (मुख्यमंत्री आवासीय भू-अधिकार योजना).
Revenue Minister Rajput said as on Tuesday the Revenue department has prepared 87603 Bhuswami Adhikar Patra for entire Madhya Pradesh.
In entire state 128160 eligible families have been identified, he said.
Rajput said 10878 Bhumiswami Adhikar Patra have been prepared for eligible families in Tikamgarh district, while a total of 11137 eligible families have been identified.
Rajput told Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had said when he had gone to Tikamgarh, the people there had informed that there is no accommodation for them, then the Chief Minister had decided that those who do not have residential plots in the state, the state government will do the work of providing plot to those needy.
Rajput said that under the Mukhyamantri Avasia Bhu-Adhikar Yojna (मुख्यमंत्री आवासीय भू-अधिकार योजना) no one in the state will remain without a house.
Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput told that under this scheme those applicant families will be eligible who do not have independent accommodation to live. Also, the applicant family should have less than 5 acres of land. Apart from this, the applicant family should have the eligibility slip of the public distribution system. Apart from this, no member of the family should be income tax payer or any member is in government service. Along with this, the name of the applicant in the village where he wants a residential plot. Apart from this, his name should be registered in the voter list till January 1, 2021.

Revenue Minister Rajput said in this scheme, the entire process of residential plot (patta) for eligible applicants has been done through online mode. In which a total of 128160 eligible families have been identified in the entire state by taking action on the applications received by the Revenue Department through the Sara portal till September 30, 2022. The Chief Minister will start providing residential plots to them.
