Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Badwale Mahadev Temple in Bhopal on the occasion of Mahashivaratri and worshiped to Adi Dev Bhagwan Baba Bateshwar with rituals amid chanting of mantras and wished for the welfare of the world.
Chouhan performed aarti by applying tilak to Baba Bateshwar and joined the procession by pulling the chariot with the announcement of “Har Har Mahadev – Bateshwar Maharaj ki Jai – Dulhe Raja ki Jai – Dulhan Maharani ki Jai”. The General Salute was given by the Police Band. Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, former Mayor Shri Alok Sharma, along with many public representatives and a large number of devotees were present. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also met the devotees in the temple premises and greeted them on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival.
