Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tribute to former President Bharat Ratna Pranab Mukherjee on his death anniversary. Chief Minister Chouhan paid floral tributes on his portrait in the auditorium of the residence office.
Former President Mukherjee was born on 11 December 1935 in Birbhum district of West Bengal. He died on 31 August 2020 in Delhi.
He was the thirteenth President of India.
He was awarded the Bharat Ratna on 26 January 2019. Pranab Mukherjee also authored the book “The Coalition Years: 1996-2012”.
He served for a long time in key economic and strategic ministries.
In his early life, Mukherjee was active in the field of journalism along with advocacy and teaching work.
