Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has all efforts will be made for all round development of Chhindwara.

He performed Bhumi Pujan for Machagora Water Supply Scheme, which will be built at a cost of Rs 848 crore 29 lakh. It will ensure water supply in 711 villages of 7 development blocks.

He also launched 35 development works worth Rs 1178 crore 54 lakh and performed Bhumi Pujan for and 30 works costing Rs. 258 crore 75 lakh. Another college will be opened in Chhindwara and a magnificent auditorium will be constructed.

Addressing the State Level Rozgar Diwas and Mahila Sammelan in Chhindwara today, Chouhan formally started distributing loans worth more than Rs 5 thousand crores to 8 lakh 34 thousand persons under the Rozgar Diwas programme.

Chouhan wished the beneficiaries a bright future. Agriculture Minister and in-charge of Chhindwara Shri Kamal Patel and public representatives were present.

711 kalash from 711 villages

The Chief Minister welcomed the public attending the Mahila Sammelan and State Level Rozgar Diwas by showering flowers. Chouhan performed bhoomi pujan for Machagora Group Water Supply Scheme by receiving Jal Kalash Yatra. Self-help groups of Livelihood Mission and beneficiary Bahnas of Ladli Bahna Yojana presented a huge rakhi to Chouhan. People’s representatives welcomed Chief Minister Chouhan with a huge garland.

Tap water at every house

The Chief Minister said that due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, drinking water is being made available at every house. In previous governments, it was difficult to install even hand pumps.

Schemes like providing one thousand rupees per month for nutritious food to Bharia, Saharia and Baiga sisters, Kanya Daan Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, distribution of laptops and providing assistance to expectant mothers were discontinued by the previous government.

Chouhan said that daughters are born to scale new heights. Rs. one thousand are being given to sisters in Ladli Bahna Yojana. It will be gradually raised to Rs.3 thousand in a phased manner. Rakhi festival will be celebrated on 27th of this month.

The state is my family

The Chief Minister that Madhya Pradesh is like a family. I am concerned about every member of the family.

The farmers must get water, students must get books-bicycle-mid-day meal-laptop-scooty for education, women should have healthy environment, youth get skill upgradation and self-employment opportunities discharging its duty.

During the Jandarshan, huge gathering showered flowers and warmly welcomed and honoured Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

The children, youth, women as well as elders welcomed the Chief Minister.
