Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan did visarjan of idol of Lord Shri Ganesh after worshiping as per rituals at Prempura Ghat on Anant Chaturdashi.
Chief Minister Chouhan prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state.
Before this, Chief Minister Chouhan’s wife Sadhna Singh, son Kartikeya Singh and officers and employees of the Chief Minister’s residence office, security staff, participated in a massive march from the residence to Prempura Ghat along with band group and bhajan kirtan.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Ganesh mahotsav was celebrated with enthusiasm and joy in the entire state. The festival was also celebrated enthusiastically at the Chief Minister’s residence.
Lord Ganesha stays with us for ten days, we wish that his blessings remain on everyone, everyone is happy, stay healthy and removes everyone’s troubles. The state and the country should move forward and show direction to the world as well. May Lord Ganesha guide us on the right path.
The procession reached Prempura Ghat from the Chief Minister’s residence via Polytechnic Square, New Market, Mata Mandir. People showered flowers at various places during the ongoing ceremony. During the procession, Chief Minister Chouhan also sang bhajans and cheered with the Ganesh devotees. The Chief Minister also distributed Prasad to the visiting devotees.
