Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted Banyan, Neem and Parijat saplings along with the members of Vaishno Mahila Utsav Samiti of Bhopal in Smart Udyan on Saturday.
Chouhan also received information about the activities of the committee.
About the importance of plants the banyan planted today has religious significance, as well as according to Ayurveda, it is possible to cure many diseases from the banyan tree.
Similarly, neem rich in antidiabetic elements is known as the supreme medicine.
Parijat is also known as Harsingar. It is also a good medicine.
