In Chhattisgarh , the lady who brought a great revolution in Clean India campaign, Kunwar Bai Yadav (106) died on Friday morning. Kunwar Bai was ill from a long time and was undergoing treatment at Dhamtari district hospital. On Thursday, she was admitted to Raipur, where her condition remained stable. 
According to the information, Kunwar Bai, resident of village Kotabharhi, was admitted to the district hospital on February 19 due to shortness of breath and physical weakness.
After this, Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh had spoken to Kunwar Bai’s daughter and grand daughter through a Video Call on 22 February and directed the Collector to refer her to Raipur for better treatment.
Kunwar Bai Yadav had been in the discussion in 2015, when she had sold her goats and built toilets in the house. Prime Minister Narendra Modi honored him for her inspirational work and took blessings by touching her feet. Then the Chhattisgarh government declared Kunwar Bai the ambassador of the state for cleanliness.
While expressing condolences over the death of Kunwar Bai, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh said in a tweet, “The Prime Minister Modi Ji, who has built the toilets by selling the goat which were the source of the livelihood to shape the dream of Swachch Bharat. Kunwar Bai is a new role-model for today’s generation.
