Getting a duplicate copy of academic documents can be a challenging task that many people would have faced. CBSE has developed a secure, quick, and viable alternative for students in light of these challenges.
The CBSE’s IT department has recently established an in-house portal called DADS (Duplicate Academic Document System). This facility will reduce the need for students to have human interaction. Also it will cut down the energy spent by students and parents.
Students and parents can now get duplicate marksheets, passing certificates, and migration certificates through the DADS portal. The new approach was designed with current COVID situations and student predicaments in mind. Students must visit the CBSE website at www.cbse.nic.in and apply for the procedure at https://cbseit.in/cbse/web/dads/home.aspx.
CBSE claimed that they get numerous requests from students for duplicate copies of their academic records, which are either lost or destroyed.
Currently, students must visit the concerned Regional Offices in person, complete an application form. Followed by depositing appropriate fees in banks, or send forms and bank drafts by post. Students will be able to track the status of their applications and receive relevant information using a tracking system.
“This portal would provide students with the option between a digital and a printed copy of the academic document,” CBSE stated.
