Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that necessary preparations for the Vikas Yatra should be completed by the administrative officers in the districts for the Yatra to become a Maha Yagya for public welfare. During the Vikas Yatra, along with the welfare of the Divyang, name transfer and other works, the work of giving caste certificates to the students should also be started. Necessary ground preparation should be done for Ladli Bahna scheme. The team of administrative and police officers should show mutual coordination and make use of each and every moment to change the lives of the people of the state.
Chouhan gave these instructions while addressing the Collectors-Commissioners, Senior Police Officers, District Superintendents of Police, Inspector Generals of Police in the second session on the second day of the conference. Members of the State Council of Ministers, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains and senior administrative and police officers were present in the conference.
Chouhan said that necessary steps will also be taken after studying the suggestions received from IAS and IPS officers in this conference. Ujjain, Indore and Bhopal Police gave presentations of innovations.
Make Vikas Yatras unique
Chouhan said that it is the responsibility of the administrative and police officers to provide better services to the public and to transform the lives of the people. The Vikas Yatras starting from 5th February should become special. The officers and employees should make every effort to make them unique. Vikas Yatra will become an important medium for public welfare works.
Chouhan said that this 2-day conference held at Mantralaya has been important from the point of view of discussions. The mutual co-ordination between administrative and police officers in the districts should also be great. A strong team should work in the districts along with the ministers. Separate meetings should be held for the implementation of schemes in the districts. This meeting can be held after the completion of the Vikas Yatra. Many ideas will come up in this meeting and important topics emerge from the discussions. This should be a meeting for the overall development of the districts, in which discussions are held on strengthening Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Kanya Vivah Yojana, agricultural schemes, food processing, investment promotion and one district-one product scheme.
Chouhan said that the officers should make necessary preparations to make the Vikas Yatras special. With the determination of the route of the yatra, a meeting should be held by the district in-charge minister. Decide the outline of the inauguration and foundation stone laying programme. All necessary efforts should be made to benefit the beneficiaries of the Jan Seva Abhiyan. Chouhan said that such an effort should be made that this yatra proves to be a Maha Yagya for development and public welfare.
Report card will be kept on March 23
Chouhan said that on March 23, three years of the current government’s tenure will be completed. During this period important works have been done in various fields despite the corona pandemic. The report card of three years will be kept in front of the public. Before this, the work of fulfilling the Chief Minister’s announcements should be completed by the Collectors. On the basis of zero tolerance, all the works of the common people should be completed without any irregularity and negligence. Redressal action should be taken according to the feedback received in the case of schemes through media and other mediums. If untrue news comes to the fore, it should be refuted by the administrative officers. If the criticism is genuine then action should be taken against the culprits. Work should be done to bring out the right facts and right things on social media as well.
Chouhan said that collectors should conduct important campaigns with the co-operation of the public. Anganwadi centers, schools and hostels should be made multipurpose. Necessary work should be completed in the Pesa area by the peace and dispute resolution committee in the village.
Chouhan said that today the presentations of innovations by Ujjain, Indore and Bhopal police are commendable. The use of the new parade started by the Bhopal Police Commissioner’s Office for the physical and mental health of the policemen is commendable. It is also useful for government servants of other departments. It is very important that the fitness of the policemen is maintained and they give better services by avoiding tendencies like anxiety, anger and depression.
Chouhan said that if the “New Parade” is fine then all the parades will be fine. Chouhan stressed the need for police and administrative officers to work in a friendly and family environment. He said that the friendship of Collector and SP is often seen. In fact, if this happens, the way of solution emerges. There should be an atmosphere of harmony in the districts. There should be a core team at the district level which would review the implemented schemes and give serious consideration to the welfare programmes to be implemented. This exercise will prove very useful for the public. Chouhan said that the way this state-level meeting has been held, such a development-related meeting in the districts under the chairmanship of the in-charge minister will be useful.
The students living in the hostel should get congenial environment : Chief Minister
Chouhan said that the students living in various hostels in the districts also need the affection from all of us. Provide them an congenial atmosphere of intimacy with necessary facilities. The arrangements for the hostel should be improved by giving responsibility to the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat.
Chouhan said that the problems of Pattas of Sindhi and Bengali displaced citizens should be resolved in the state. Along with this, infrastructure development works should be done for illegal colonies while benefiting the beneficiaries of Chief Minister’s Urban Land Rights Scheme and Urban Housing Scheme.
Chouhan said that Jal Jeevan Mission, CM Rise School, Sambal-2, Teerth-Darshan, Kanya Vivah Yojana, smooth electricity supply, necessary action to settle the poor sections in the 23 thousand acres of land freed from bullies. Necessary guidance and assistance should be given to the farmers interested in natural farming.
Chouhan said that effective action should be taken to curb anti-national elements by identifying them in order to conduct the anti-drug campaign and to maintain the law and order situation in the state.
Rashi, Vikas Yatras and Sant Ravidas Mahakumbh for farmers
Chouhan said that there are three important programmes this week. Necessary preparations are being made for transfer of amount of Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana to the farmers from Vidisha on February 3, launch of Vikas Yatra in entire state from February 5 on Sant Ravidas Jayanti and Sant Ravidas Mahakumbh on February 8 in Sagar.
Chouhan said that the work of recruitment on about one lakh 14 thousand vacant government posts is going on in the state. Along with this, giving employment to 2.5 lakh people, providing funds to Baiga, Sahariya and Bharia special backward tribes, such employees working in various cadres, to whom there is a system of giving honorarium, should be given on time.
Chouhan said that the programmes of farewell and reception of the pilgrims under the Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojana should also be dignified.
Chouhan said that an outline of the Kanya Vivah Yojana programme should also be made in each development block.
