The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested three accused on the allegations of possessing illegal wildlife material, busting a network of inter-state gang.
The accused arrested in the case are Pinter Patel, Ashok Parekh based at Jaipur and Paramjeet Singh at Delhi.
A case was registered against three accused & unknown others. It was alleged that a network of inter-state gang was involved in illegal trafficking of wildlife material.
CBI in association with the official of Wildlife Crime Control Bureau conducted searches at Delhi and recovered 19 numbers of leopard/tiger claws from the said accused.
Further searches were conducted at certain places in Jaipur which resulted in the recovery of 7 numbers of tiger/leopard claws.
The arrested accused were produced before the competent Court at Delhi and remanded to the police custody.
