The Special Court, CBI, Vyapam Cases, Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) has convicted Dushyant Singh Bhadoria (Candidate) & Jagpal Singh (Solver/Impersonator) and sentenced them to undergo four years Rigorous Imprisonment with fine of Rs. 13,100 each in a case related to Pre Medical Test (PMT) 2010 conducted by Vyapam.
The CBI had registered the instant case in compliance to the orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and taken over the investigation of FIR No. 177/15, earlier registered at Police Station Jhansi Road, Gwalior related to Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical Test (PMT) 2010 conducted by VYAPAM, Bhopal. It was alleged that Sh. Dushyant Singh Bhadoria (Candidate) got admission in a Medical College at Gwalior by arranging a solver/impersonator, who appeared in the written examination of MP Pre Medical Test 2010 in place of Dushyant Singh Bhadori.
The CBI conducted through investigation. The expert opinion of Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), proved that the OMR answer sheet, Cover page of question booklet and RASA sheet did not contain the handwriting of the candidate Dushyant Singh Bhadoria. CBI also traced the impersonator, Jagpal Singh.
It was revealed that the solver/impersonator Jagpal Singh appeared in the written examination of MP PMT 2010 in place of candidate Dushyant Singh Bhadoria.
It was confirmed that the handwritings on the OMR answer sheet, cover page of question booklet and Record of Answer Sheet & Attendance (RASA) sheet of PMT 2010 contained the handwritings of Jagpal Singh. It was also confirmed that photographs used in the application form and allotment letter of Dushyant Singh Bhadoria mentioned that the photograph used in these documents contained the facial features of both Dushyant Singh Bhadoria (candidate) and Sh. Jagpal Singh (solver/impersonator).
After investigation, CBI filed the chargesheet against the said accused. The Trial Court found the said accused guilty and convicted them.
In another case, the Special Court , CBI, Vyapam Cases, Gwalior has convicted Laxman Singh (Candidate) & Dharmendra Kumar (Solver/impersonator) and sentenced them to undergo four years Rigorous Imprisonment with fine of Rs. 14,100/- each in a case related to Police Constable Recruitment Test-2013, conducted by Vyapam.
The CBI had registered the case on the orders of Supreme Court of India and taken over the investigation of the case earlier registered vide FIR No. 181/2013 dated 07.04.2013 at Police Station, Murar relating to cheating by impersonation in the Police Constable Recruitment Test, 2013 conducted by Vyapam. It was alleged that Solver/impersonator Dharmendra Kumar was appearing in Police Constable Recruitment Test on 07.04.2013, in place of Laxman Singh. During re-conciliation & matching of photo by the invigilator, It was found that. photograph & signature in the application form of Laxman Singh were not matching with the candidate.
The expert opinion of CFSL on the handwriting/signature established that Dharmendra Kumar appeared in place of original candidate Laxman Singh in the said PCRT, 2013 as he signed the RASA sheet.
Further, CBI collected opinion of expert on the thumb impression which established that accused Dharmendra Kumar appeared in the said examination in place of candidate Laxman Singh.
After investigation, CBI filed a chargesheet against both the accused. The Trial Court found the said accused guilty and convicted them.
