The Central Bureau of Investigation has today apprehended Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Panipat (Haryana) Amit Nain of accepting bribe of Rs.50,000.
A case was registered on complaint. It was alleged that Regional Provident Fund Commissioer (RPFC-II), Panipat Amit Nain was demanding bribe of Rs.50,000/- from the complainant in lieu of de-freezing the accounts of the Complainant’s company that provides manpower etc. to various business houses/institutions/offices etc.
CBI laid a trap and caught the accused while accepting bribe of Rs.50,000. Searches are being conducted at the residential and official premises of accused. The investigation is continuing.
